| How to get a German Visa |
|
Students apply for the verification of documents at the Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) in Beijing. Students for our cooperative study programme pass a simplified verification procedure and do not need to conduct an interview. APS then issues a certificate which is required for visa application. Please note that the APS certificate only allows you to study at BRSU. Enrolment at other German universities is only possible after graduation, e.g. for Master studies. Chinese students mostly enter Germany on the basis of a student visa, which is granted to students by the German Embassy in Beijing. A student visa allows entry and stay for a period of three months. Incoming students have to check the website of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs for regulations on immigration and residency for China. Following the students arrival in Germany, the International Office of BRSU will make an appointment at the Foreigners Registration Office for the students to be granted a residence permit. In order to apply for a residence permit, the following documents are required:
Chinese students will be helped by the International Office and the study buddies to extend their visa in Germany. For more information about APS, please check the APS website. |
