Starting studies in a foreign country might bring you some problems and difficulties during the time after your arrival. To give you an orientation aid and to ease your integration, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University has launched the “Study-Buddy-Programme”. |
| Orientation week |
|
During the first week BRSU will welcome you with an orientation programme and a variety of activities to give you all the relevant information and a chance to meet other students. |
| Accomodation |
|
Incoming students usually live in the student residences run by the Studentenwerk (Bonn Student Administration Service). The international office of BRSU can reserve rooms in advance for incoming students. |
| Fees & living costs |
|
Students do not have to pay university tution fees at BRSU, but each semester contribution of 228,90 € has to be made. |
| Asian Supermarkets |
|
There are several Asian supermarkets located in the city of Bonn which can provide you with a variety of goods from China and other regions. |
| Health Insurance |
|
Health insurance is compulsory in Germany. Students from China have to have a health insurance which is accepted by German law for the time until enrolment (July - September). |
| Visa |
|
Students apply for the verification of documents at the Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) in Beijing. |
