"In my last semester at University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg I made an internship at Bosch Automotive Products in Changsha, China. This allowed me to apply the theoretical knowledge I gained throughout my studies to real-life situations and to get invaluable experience with regard to intercultural issues. The internship in China has been a great basis for starting my career in an international environment and makes my resume more appealing to employers. Of course, living in Changsha posed plenty of challenges such as language, food, strong cultural differences, and living conditions. However, I learnt so much about adapting to another environment, the Chinese culture, business in China, and especially the fact that Changsha is not yet an international city makes it so interesting. I do not want to miss the time in Changsha and can recommend an internship with Bosch to anyone who is interested in getting a unique international experience in China." |
